Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Nova+ (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use novaplus.app and related handoff links into the Nova+ mobile app.

What we collect

Website usage: standard server and CDN logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL, approximate location derived from IP) for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

Search and navigation: queries you type into site search and pages you open, processed to return catalog results and improve discovery quality.

App handoff: when you tap Watch or Download, we may pass a series or episode identifier in the URL so the Nova+ app can open the right title. Those identifiers are catalog metadata, not your identity.

We do not require an account to browse novaplus.app. If optional analytics or consent-gated cookies are enabled later, they will only run after you choose an option on the Consent Management page (or equivalent banner).

Why we process data

To operate and secure the site (legitimate interest / contract).

To provide search, catalog pages, and app handoff (contract / legitimate interest).

To comply with legal obligations when required.

To measure aggregated traffic only when you consent to analytics cookies (consent).

Sharing

Hosting and CDN providers process request data on our behalf to deliver pages (for example Vercel and Cloudflare, when configured).

We do not sell personal data. We do not use the website as a video ad network.

App store platforms process download and install data under their own policies when you leave novaplus.app for the App Store or Google Play.

Retention

Security and access logs are kept only as long as needed for operations and abuse investigation, then deleted or anonymized.

Consent preferences are stored on your device (and, if implemented, for a limited period on our side) so we can honor your choice.

Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

To exercise rights, email contact@novaplus.app. We may need to verify the request. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Children

novaplus.app is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age required in your country). If you believe a child provided personal data, contact contact@novaplus.app.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after material updates means you should review the new text.
